Ottawa’s Drew Mosley is part artist and part carpenter, and the two sides of his creativity often come together in distinctive and delightful portraits of wildlife — though not your typical wildlife. Mosley’s portraits are paintings and dioramas both, ensconced in his own frame boxes, and featuring owls and foxes, bears and occasionally people, who often stare out with wistful expressions. Hence the wit in the title of his website, Into the Mild.
